Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade tokens.

A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
